Lobsters

Since Spring 2010, Sea Fresh has expanded its range with the addition of live lobster from Canada. Sea Fresh possesses an ultra-modern ‘holding system’. The lobsters are primarily sourced from Halifax, Canada and the lobsters are placed into the holding tanks at Sea Fresh immediately on arrival. The tanks are filled with water from the North Sea and the water is cooled significantly so as to lower the lobster’s metabolism. As a result, they purify themselves naturally, which improves their taste.

Sea Fresh possesses 12 holding tanks with an average capacity of approximately 2,000 kilograms. The weekly direct delivery and spacious storage capacity ensure that customers of Sea Fresh have live lobster available every day.
